Lucy ‘Lightningtats’ – Tattoo Artist

Hey there! I’m Lucy, a tattoo artist with four years of experience, specialising in traditional, neo-traditional, and greywash tattoos. Drawing and painting have always been my passions, and over the years, I’ve developed my own unique tattooing style. I work five days a week at Lovesick Studio, bringing clients' tattoo dreams to life - whether through custom pieces, one-of-a-kind designs, or repeatable flash.

Outside the studio, I’m all about cozy activities—reading, puzzles, gaming on my Switch, spinning vinyl, watching movies, and snuggling up with my Pomeranian, Sookie.

What I do:

🖤 Traditional & neo-traditional - My absolute favourites! Traditional tattoos are bold, timeless, and packed with solid black and vibrant colours. Neo-traditional takes those classic elements and adds extra details, depth, and modern twists.

⚫ Blackwork & black and grey - Blackwork is all about bold, striking designs using only black ink. Black and grey tattoos incorporate smooth shading and contrast, adding depth and dimension to the artwork.

🎨 Fine line - I love the precision and detail that comes with fine line tattoos. Whether small and delicate or large and intricate, these pieces often hold deep meaning for my clients, and I’m honoured to create them.

✍️ Freehand tattoos - For something extra personal, I’ll draw the design directly onto your skin, ensuring a one-of-a-kind tattoo that fits your body perfectly. I love the creativity and freedom this process allows!

🔄 Coverups & blast-overs - Got an old tattoo that no longer feels like "you"? I love the challenge of transforming an outdated piece into something fresh and meaningful. Blast-overs add another layer to your tattoo story - overlaying a new design while allowing the original to subtly peek through.
